Re: Serious security flaw found in IE
why don't more people use the quicklaunch toolbar. At work where I am forced to use Windows I find it invaluable.
For those that don't know what it is , think a small toolbar that is part of your taskbar where you can have 'buttons' for all your regularly used applications, this way you don't have to minimise all your windows to get to your desktop to find that application shortcut, its there all the time. You can even get it to do a cascading windows explorer function to open files quickly and easily from anywhere on your PC or even network shares. To turn it on, hover over the taskbar, right click, choose "Toolbars" - "Quicklaunch". It comes with certain buttons preconfigured, just drag a shortcut from any application to it to add them, you can arrange them however you like. |
