Nice win for England tonight against Mexico..don't want to be to critical but our defence looked lazy.. Mexico defence was even worse.. looks like Capello will play 4-4-2 in most games so I reckon Crouch and Rooney upfront.

i will be critical, thought defense was asleep first half, mexico were by far the better side first 45 mins, simply not good good enough if ya expect to do well in South Africa.

I'm sad to say but we did mist John Terry, Ashley Cole and Fat Frank last night, Crouch certainly is a better prospect up front with Rooney, Heskey is to much of a liability injury wise

Terry, Cole and Lampard will all be in the line up for the World Cup.. can't say we missed Lampard because apart from his shooting power he does not create anything..as far as the defence goes Ferdinand has gone of the boil this season and his injuries have not helped... we have not got a decent English goalkeeper ... the South American teams have faster better midfielders and strikers than us..Spain have the lot.. we are doomed!:D

Heskey is in the final 23 man squad as a striker... he get's the nod over Darren Bent.
goal scoring record this season Bent 24.. Heskey 3.
OK I'm no expert but to take Heskey to the WC ahead of Bent as a "striker" don't add up.. or have i missed something?
