Just a bit of a dig, Jay. Top of the league and twelve thousand last night (ok, 12,700)? And were the 700 from Barnsley?

When Kean sods of the gates will rocket, I'm disappointed that there are so many turning up, if the gates had been around 7 or 8 thousand, Venkys might just start to think about things, I'm on Rovers website all the time and there are thousand who won't go back to Ewood while that lying drunk is still there

I understand that,Jay, fan power can sometimes work, but do you really believe that any board is going to sack a manager whose team is top of the league and who is meeting the criteria they themselves set for his continued employment?
It is a strange situation you find yourselves in really. The only way you will get what you want (Kean's dismissal) is to lose a number of games to put yourselves in a situation from which you may never recover, promotion-wise.
Catch 22 is the term I think.

Well he did that last season and nothing happened, but when you have a chap advising the owners, who are clueless about running a football club, who is also the agent of the manager, hes hardly going to say to venky's the guys a ducky better get rid of him, its like saying ho I want a pay cut:rolleyes:
Only this morning its rumored that Southampton are lining up Rafa Benitez to take over as manager, after 5 games, if only. The thing that's saving Kean at the moment is luck, by is own works Rovers were crap last night and still won and that's been the story so far, but hey 14 form 18 points ain't bad I suppose

Tell you what though, Jay, didn't they set him a target of 17 points from the first seven games? I suppose that means if you don't win your next game he's gone. Could be wrong but if I'm not you've got light at the end of the tunnel. Here's hoping you win, eh?

Oh that was a rant from our "Global Adviser" I ask you flaming global adviser, I tell you while Jerome Anderson is whispering in the ear of the Venky's Kean won't be going anywhere, he's hardly likely to say he wants a pay cut is he, seeing he's Keanokio's Agent:rolleyes:

It could be worse, Jay, look at our lot last night. They've given up walking their dogs 'cos they can't hold a lead. Apparently great in the first half (even without Charlie) but completely lost the plot for the first 15 minutes of the second. I've come to the conclusion that if we combined the defensive capabilities of Burnley and Rovers we still wouldn't have a defence worth a damn.

Hang on a minute Rovers defence is bad but we ain't lost a do yet, played 6 won 4 drawn 2 lost 0, Burnley played 6 won 2 drawn 0 lost 4,, ya was keeping up with the nights events whilst watching Chelski and was a bit sad in the first half but ecstatic in the second:D

I agree with you, Jay, but my point is that neither team has a defence and you will only remain top as long as you keep scoring 3 goals a game. Burnley are scoring goals, just not as many as the opposition.

Well no, we've won 1-0 2-1 2-1 and 5-3 the idea is to hopefully score more goals that your matchday opponents, but if we had a better defence it would make it easier, but hey who cares, the only problem I have is numb nuts is still manager. Ive read in the papers that your ex manager Judas has two games to save his job, maybe he'll make a return to turd moor:D:D:D

It could be worse. They could be bringing back Laws. If Laws and Kean were to combine to write a book about football they wouldn't get past page one, and that would be an introduction.
By the way, you have the second worst defensive record in the top ten of the championship.

Oh my God, Cash, that's like saying the name of the dark lord in the Lord of the Rings!!! I'm making the sign of the cross as we speak! Actually we didn't do that badly on the field with him as I recall, he just left us so broke with all the "star" players he brought in that we nearly went out of business.
I remember we played Shrewsbury at home when he was in charge of them and he took the death threats so seriously his assistant manager took charge for the day and he stayed at home.
Possibly the most hated man in the history of BFC.

Ya quite aware, but as long as the goal difference stays + couldn't care less really, no doubt things will improve coming up to Christmas:rolleyes:
