Actually we didn't do that badly on the field with him as I recall, he just left us so broke with all the "star" players he brought in that we nearly went out of business.
I remember we played Shrewsbury at home when he was in charge of them and he took the death threats so seriously his assistant manager took charge for the day and he stayed at home.
Possibly the most hated man in the history of BFC.

Don't think Jimmy Mullen was that well like seeing that some fans tried to set his wifes dress alight, which actually was behind him leaving the Dingle Dome;)

At least it's entertaining I suppose.

He was disliked toward the end, Jay, but we did have some very good times with him as well. Not in the same class as Bond. Think the fire thing was either a myth or some drunken fool. Not sure of the truth of that. Don't know if it's ever been proved, but it wouldn't surprise me if it was.

Going back to the original post:
Charlie - 6 (and he didn't even play at Leicester).
8 million pound man - 5.
And there's still only 5 points in it.
By the way, is Kean still there? Thought he was on his way if he didn't get 17 points from 7 games? Same old, same old.

Is he really? Don't get your hopes up Jay, it could be a false dawn. If he goes who would you fancy, realistically, to take over?

Here's a stat!!
Burnley (bottom half of championship - for now): 13,599 average att.
Rovers - top of championship (till weekend at least) - 13,418.
By the way the nationals are getting Charlie to 7 league goals but I can only (only? Haha!) get it to 6. Odd!!

Cheers Dave, forgot about Midds. I was on hols at the time. The day just gets better.
All I need now is to read the headline, "Kean to stay at Rovers", and the world will be just peachy.

Kean stays!!! Just heard the interview with your delightful Mr. Singh on radio Lancs. Seems like a nice chap but obviously doesn't have a clue what's going on. The upshot seems to be though that Rovers are still stuck with the delightful Mr. Kean for the present.
Seriously though, what planet are Rovers distinguished owners on?
I think old Stevie boy has gone to them and told them just how much it's going to cost them to get rid and they don't like it much. Probably decided it's only a minor part of their organisation and they'll just live with it for now because they have more important things to think about.
Anyway, onwards and upwards. I'll see if our lot can dispose of Swindon tonight then it's back to the league at weekend.
Good luck lads, you're gonna need it!!
