Got to say that the Citreon 2CV has got to be up there with the worst cars. My mum's friend used to have one & if you were in it & you saw another, you had to wave and beep at them!

I always thought the gearstick was in a bit of a silly place as it came from the dash rather than on the floor. But when my driving instructor got a new Honda civic with the gearstick in practically the same place - it was actually a lot easier to drive!

Always hated this car, ugly useless and always slowing traffic down, even worse then caravans.

You could double the price by filling it up with petrol and it had heated rear windows to keep your hands warm while you pushed.

Here in the States, I think the worst car ever was the early '60's Chevrolet Corvair. It was claimed by Chevrolet to be impossible to roll, yet Ralph Nader ( famous American consumer advocate ) got one to roll at just 27mph. And they were notorious for oil leaks, referred to by mechanics as the rear engine road oiler.
