Kurt Cobain was not a great guitarist at all.
He could write a great tune don't get me wrong - I love the pre-nevermind stuff - but a great musician? Nah. |

Looks like it depends on which bio you read.
I remember being told by a mate who lived in one of the pottery towns (possible Newcastle or Stoke) when Appetite came out that Slash was from Stoke, just took it that he was born there. |
