female singers ..who still presses your buttons

ok , maybe a bit of a misogyinst thread ( a female/lady member can start her own thread) but a question for the blokes/chaps/males who use this site ..... who do you still have a 'teenage' chrush/fantasys over .....?
what song/singer is allways in the back of your mind , and whenever you hear her singing a particular song, a little light bulb lights up , and heartstrings tug for whatever reason ....
Older members like Jambutty and Ianto.W , (and I hope they read this post) probably would maybe include Alma Cogan or Anne Shelton (no disrespect meant or intended, just an age thing) and a youngster like Shakermaker would maybe include Amy Winehouse or some such creature, it's a generational thing ... but for me ........
Any time I hear Francise Hardy singing 'all over the world " it just puts me in another time and place , same with the Jane Birkin and 'Je Taime' do any other users of the group have a song that presses their buttons ...

posts welcome from any generations , just let us know why ...:D

Diana Ross.. 35 years later she looks better as a grandmother than she ever looked as a young singer. Oh and she can sing a bit ,

Not a singer.. But Felicity kendal was on telly the other night.. Another one that will always age well :)

Debbie Harry of Blondie.

Loved her from the age of twelve, until now, thirty years later.

Met her on my fifteenth birthday, which will go down as the most exciting day of my life.:)

Thanks Margaret I will........The song Over the Rainbow means something a bit special to me........My mother used to sing that and she was a hell of a singer.
