Although it's 34 years to the day since Dr Feelgood reached No 1 in the album chart with "Stupidity", it's got to be said that the original by the late Sol was THE version. :cool:

One of my favourite 45's of all time, released by an impossibly obscure band in the Chicago area in the late 60's and sank without a trace. Later became a huge Northern Soul favourite in Stoke, Wigan and all points North. But it's far more than just a Northern Soul record...it's a vibrant, compelling mix of soul, funk, rock, jazz and a lot more. Listen to the energy leap from the grooves of this record...pure excitement! :cool:
