not really a Christmas record , but hearing a group of primary/infant schoolchilden singing "Away in a Manger" allways brings a bit of a tear to this cynical old buggers eye ;) ;)

It's gotta be Greg Lake's I Believe in Father Christmas for me. Perhaps I'm a closet hippy or it may be because the beeb used the Prokofiev bit out of it as their Christams theme music for a couple of years when I was MUCH younger.

Mine i havent got a favourite i like too many of them. The pogues, white christmas, spaceman came travelling, santa baby, let it snow, merry xmas everybody, mary had a little boy never mind all the carols away in a manger, silent night, o little town of bethlehem too many to name!

A Spaceman Came Travelling by Chris De Burgh was in my humble opinion the best one yet. Has anyone listened to "Real" radio on DAB radio they are playing a mixture of Christmas songs and other stuff during the day but at night, all night they are playing all Christmas stuff.
