favourite musical.

Just out of curiosity, what are Accy Webbers favourite musicals? Stage or screen or both.

One of my favourite screen musicals is Oliver, I must have seen it dozens of times.

I can't choose the stage ones, as I am torn between Blood Brothers (hilariously funny, but also very sad) and Miss Saigon (wonderful special effects for stage) Les Miserables had me laughing and crying at the same time.

Are there any stage shows that you have seen that you would highly recommend?:music8:

Cats is a good one, never seen Grease on stage, just film. Phantom of the Opera is good, and Boogie Nights was brilliant (dancing in the aisles at that one) Possibly going to see saturday night fever with the girls from work in a month or two.

I so Evita,in London 1979 i think it was, did'nt think much of it. On film it has to be Moulin Rouge staring Ewan McGregor and Nichol Kidman.

My all time fave is Oliver.
Read the book loads, seen the film loads.
I have seen the musical version on screen but never seen a stage version.

Still...I'm not really a great fan of musicals
