Roy C...a class record and one that got into the charts back in '66, largely on the strength of club plays.

Blimey Susan, where did you find that, another I havent heard of for yonks, they used to play that a lot at Blackburn mecca in the lunch breaks when we wwere at Blackburn Tech. It was free & the DJ played a lot of soul for an hour.

Can't take all the credit Alan, I'll send you a site through Facebook where I find quite a lot of 'oldies'

Last memory of Jimmy was going to a house up West End Ossy the morning after an all nighter at I think Ace of Spades Whalley, another guy with us was nicknamed Cronnie(possibly Cronshaw). We all wore Crombie coats...

Hi Susan, purple hearts and black bombers were around in those days and if I had taken them it would probably account for my not being able to recall the year-but I kept away from that scene so I am just going to guess at 1970 and say my memory is wearing cos I`m 59!

I think Jimmy was out of the mod scene by 1970, might have been out of Accy by then.
