Re: Best double album ever?
My first record player was a Bush. It would play 78, 45, and 33 and a bit. I can't remember exactly what I had on 78 ... Tommy Steele for sure, and Conway Twitty. My grandad had a full set of Gilbert and Sullivan on 78, by the Oily Cart folks. In those days you needed a wheelbarrow to carry your tunes around.:D[/QUOTE]
my parents had a dansette that also played 16 rpm  |

I think you should listen to Sounds that can't be made, by musics best kept secret, it's the latest album by Marillion, a critically acclaimed album, in fact it has been said its almost as good as Dark Side of The Moon, the standard by which all rock is judged But of course my opinion will be different than yours... |

Re: Best double album ever?
Without a doubt Stadium Arcadium by Red Hot Chili Peppers. It is a rare masterpiece because most of today's music sucks.
