Thank you originator of this u tube thread never occurred to me to search a song version on there before, answered a big Q for a long long time, & wondered why i never got the right version & now what do u do .........re-unite me with the version i remember & love, but didnt know it was the cover version of Bob Dylans classic pen work thinking it was his version i liked & wondered where the piano was LOL [no dis-respect MR Dylan i like yours too but Van had the edge to your worded feeling in this song]
I had tears in my eyes & shivers down my spine - thats the best bit of musical nostagia   So i reveal what im on about, didnt realise its been a song in a few films

One of the best ever cover versions of any song.
This Mortal Coil's version of Tim Buckley's Song to the Siren. (Used the Silent Hill video because it has all of the intro). Stunning and beautiful. |

There used to be a plethora of Tim Buckley's versions on here but unfortunately they seem to have been deleted.
(George Michaels version is there though (unfortunately) just compare. |
