Roman played this on Saturday at the Whalley "Conny" Soul Night, it packed the floor. A great night, a full across the board policy.
It's so long since it came out of my collection box. A nice 70's smooth dancer.

Believe me, Jay, our Candi ain't just a one-trick pony. She's got a large recorded back catalog and she's still making records and gigging now. Here's another slice of brass-fuelled Southern Soul.

Think she had another UK top tenner with her version of "Nights On Broadway", Jay. To my tastes, her earlier down home stuff is the best, though.
