Billy Fury 25th Anniversary

Just thought some of the AccyWeb "oldies but goodies" might like to see this.

Best British rock 'n' roller ever, in my opinion...

thanx wynonie
must agree the music and the legend will never die
first saw billy at the starlight club in little harwood
it may have cost me half a crown to get in but worth every penny
thought he was great then and still think hes great now

Thought you might agree with me, Beechy!

"Don't Knock Upon My Door" - red hot rock 'n' roll so good it could've come out of Memphis.

no arguement from me, saw him 5 times in 62, on a package tour with Mark Wynter, n Peter J and the Jaywalkers, didn't much like either of them2 but Fury alone was worth the enterance fee. as an aside met "Ray Sheldons" (fury impersonater) brother-in-law sat night, who told me Ray has not been performing for a few months now due to a serious illness, billys mum n brother are well upset as Ray has become a good friend over the yrs, so get well soon Ray. ta for the "Heads Up" wyn.
