James Von Streeter available on a 4 CD set "Hamhocks and Cornbread" all 40's/50's stuff but maybe too bluesy for your tastes.

"The Essential Jay McShann" (£2 on Amazon)

Lucky Millender "Apollo Jump" (£1.99 on Amazon)

Both well worth a punt at that price!

No in fact I haven't Dave, I've just, around 15 minutes ago, asked cashy if he wanted to look through my Vinyl albums as I no longer have anything to play them on

The very first tape I bought, to play in my brand new cassette player, at the height of glam rock, was The Very Best of The Jack Parnell Orchestra.

Good, though the seven year old me prefered listening to my Glen Miller Orchestra L.P.
