Ummmm.... thanks.... I think. :rolleyes:

It certainly looks more promising than it did earlier. It's warmer than it has been and the rain will help to soften the pitch. The only thing is if the pitch is now waterlogged.

I hope they either call it definitely on or off at 4.30, so we're not being messed around later.

According to the Southport website the game has been officially called off due to a waterlogged pitch.

From the site:

ACCRINGTON STANLEY GAME THIS EVENING HAS BEEN POSTPONED
Friday, December 30, 2005 (2 reads)

The match Referee has just inspected the pitch, and called the game off due to the pitch being waterlogged.

Anyone who feels they're missing out on a match can listen to Exeter v Hereford live on http://www.bbc.co.uk/england/herefordworcester/. Exeter are winning 1-0 after 4 minutes.

Things are looking better for Accy now with Hereford scoring on 29 and 42 minutes to make it 1-2. But the Bulls have just had Ipoua, who scored the first, sent off during the second goal celebrations - seems like he said something to the ref.
