Re: What The Hell?!?!
Once Jags is fit, he could do the 'enforcer' role in midfield.

Re: What The Hell?!?!
for those of you that don't know proccy has had knee ligament surgury and is still limping. I dolubt if we will see him at all this season but if we do it'll be late on as once the knee is fine he'll have to get fit again.

Re: What The Hell?!?!
If I remember rightly Andy Todd is a righ sided attacking midfielder who played against us for Hucknall and Worksop, and also scored goals against us. I was disappointed when he signed for Burton at the start of the season as I would have liked him at Stanley. Coley went for him before he signed for Burton. I, personally, would prefer Andy Todd to Antony Barry. Time will tell, but let's get behind the Club and the players and the Management Team at this crucial time of the season. No bickering or falling out, we all want the same thing. These players could make history and if Antony Barry doesn't want to be part of a history making team that is up to him.

Re: What The Hell?!?!
Some of you will know that I was never sure about Anthony Barry although recently even I had to admit that he was doing an ok job and what I really can't understand about his move is the timing. Why unsettle the side now when only a few days ago the message from the club was nobody is leaving. I can only think it must have been too good an offer to turn down both for the club and player. Good luck to the lad, hope he makes it at Yeovil.

Read lots of reports about him being a striker used as a winger at Burton (played against us in September), but that previously he had been an attacking midfielder. He was also one of Coley's targets in the summer before he chose Burton instead, so he is clearly thought of highly by the management. |
Re: What The Hell?!?!
I hope this is a hint at FINALLY Jagielka being used in his position of an anchorman in midfield with Todd being used as an out&out winger on the right?
If this is true it's bloody good stuff....we do need a permanent starter in that right flank position...stability can only be a good thing at this stage in the season. |
Re: What The Hell?!?!
I'm still concerned about injuries. At this stage of the season we could loose everything with a run of injuries, particularly to the midfield. Coley must strenghthen and consolidate at this time.

Re: What The Hell?!?!

Guy's, to clear up all the confusion surrounding where Toddy's best position is.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>
While at <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><st1:place w:st="on">Forest</st1:place>, he played up front with Marlon Harewood, which at the time was his preferred position.<o:p></o:p> Over the years since leaving <st1:place w:st="on">Forest</st1:place> he has played in various positions from Striker, Right Wing and Left Wing. Re: What The Hell?!?!
Thanks for that sav :)
Coley was saying on Radio Lancashire that he had signed Todd as a winger and that he had been a long-term target for this transfer window and had nothing to do with Barry's move to Yeovil. He also said that he is now short of midfielders and will definitely be bringing in at least one midfielder between now and the end of the season. I doubt that he'll find a good one that is out of contract, so I presume that he means another loan signing. |
