All Change At The Top As Defaulters Prosper

"Keep the Faith" isn't a bad motto - especially when we're playing away by the look of things . But AngeB didn't , and crashed from her long-held place on top of the podium all the way down to 8th, with Leylandii taking over (up from 4th) without disturbing his default away forecast which produced a max 5 for him . Mab (6th to 2nd) and Deeayess (8th to 7th) got the same results from the same tactic. Proccy Fan (7th to 6th), AccyMad (13th to 12th), Tommy McQueen (15th to 14th), Revived Red (18th to 16th), NigeB (21st to 21st ) and Red-Osbornello (25th to 22nd) got their 5 points the hard way. The gains were mostly limited, as lots of the rest of the faith-keepers picked up 1 bonus point to add to their basic 3. All the drawmongers, but none of the pessimists, got a bonus too. LongLostSon was the other big loser, down from 9th to 13th. Cashman hung on to the third podium place, despite only taking the bare 3.

Soooo - all hail Newport, Stevenage and York, but the latter two had better stop influencing the promotion race now - its roll on the Minstermen. We really need to perform the last rites on them and give our goal difference a bit of a boost. Can we do it? Yes we can! Anybody else getting nervous? Yes we are!

On Stanley On!!
