Rob Elliot for turning Lose into draws and Draws into Wins.. every game theres a stuning save.. If his kicking was on every game he would be 100% :)

Gary Roberts - Brilliant free kicks, goals, assists, taking defenses on and a great player to watch. Although he hasnt been as consistent these last couple of month he has overall been a fantastic player for us this season...........

I am now changing it because i thought seeing as this player was only here since January it wouldnt be right to award it him even though he has played absolute immense in most games. His penalty saves are fantastic and iv never ever been as confident as our keeper saving a penalty when we concede one when he is in the net. His shot stopping is brilliant and he can look forward to a very bright future in the game. Therefore my vote is going for ROB ELLIOT !!

Robbie Elliot, turned us from Playoff Contenders to Champions. Saved us in dying minutes on numerous occasions. Wins have been taken from draws, and draws from losses. Rarely makes a mistake, and as Kipax has said, only his kicking is off the mark.

I will stand bye what i said earlier ..

Gary Roberts...No dissie to elliot or even randolph(charlton av seen us reight) Ian craney has been phonemonal!

Not forgettin THE MAGNET MAN, Mullin...every ball ball towards him sticks and holds...great for a midfielder...this cat is playing two or three positions per game.

It has been been close but ROBERTS for me, on where he has come from and what he has made of himself in such a short space of time.

That may well be, Spud. But it wasn't Rory being booed . . . it was a nervous young player called Gary Roberts .

Anyway, let's not stray too much from the point of AccyMad's thread. Sorry if I've been a distraction.

My vote for Official Website [didn't that used to be called Internet ?] Player of the Year is Rob Elliott.

Rob is an astonishing young man who owed us nothing but has given us everything.

His will be one of the names that will forever live in Stanleydom .

Gary Roberts, for his dogged determination and some great goals.

(The whole team deserves to be immortalised in bronze, and set on a pluinth outside the Town Hall.)

Leam Richardson

Mr Consistency. As with all the lads; settled into a new, young team brilliantly and quickly. My vote could go to anyone in the back four - of which I believe is the strongest we have had in years. Great player.

Rob Elliott - we were sorry when Randolph had to go, but Rob has turned many matches round by his incredible reliability. I hope he signs for next season.

Paul Mullin - Never have I seen a player put so much effort in, game in game out. Mr Consistency never lets his head drop and is a shining example to young strikers everywhere.

Rob Elliot : for keeping us in so many games in spite of having virtually no defence in front of him.

Re: -OFFICIAL-Website Player of the Year

Only one player to name  i think most our our regular team have been superb team players this season so no discredit to the rest like Craney, Cavanagh & Roberts - class act even Andy Todd has been a good asset to us this season - so well done lads!!! :D

The player i vote because he is our backbone & rare goalies get recognised above strikers, even when he had his wonkie kicks at christmas LOL he has given it all for the team & guarded our net very well.........can we keep him Coley? :D.

The player of the year should go to Rob Elliot !!! :D

Re: -OFFICIAL-Website Player of the Year

Shame it's only 1 vote allowed. So difficult to choose between Paul Mullin for the 110% he gives in every game, Ian Craney for determination and consistency, Liam Richardson and/or Michael Welch for strengthening the defence to its best in a long time, Gary Roberts for the entertainment value, etc etc. After alot of deliberation however, it has to be Robbie Elliot for the sheer number of points he has single-handedly (no pun intended) brought us this year.
