If Ossyclogger doesn't know about the things that Bottletop was referring to then I presume that what we thought might happen, didn't happen and that's probably cos there weren't enough people there to make it happen :)

I personally am disgusted in the way things at supporters club meetings are kept secret to the rest of sup club members so i will not be renewing my families memberships :mad: :mad:

Not every member can make it to meetings due to personal/business/other circumstances. But are as members still entitled to know what is happening within the organisation.

I am a member of a trade organisation which covers the industry I work in, if I can't make it to a meeting I still receive a copy of the minutes of said meeting, so am fully informed of what occured.

What is point of having a sup club website when meeting info isn't put on for all members to see?

Seems there's a mini revolution going on:). Seriously though, me and my lads have been members for a few years now but I gave up going to the meetings before Christmas, the only one I've attended since then was the April one and then only because I had to ask if it was ok to present the website player of the year trophy at the presentation night. I still paid subs for the three of us though although along with quite a few others I won't be renewing them this season.

With respect Ossyclogger, I attended almost every meeting for a couple of years but got fed up with hardly ever being listened to when I had a valid point to make and only being thought of someone to make the butties for any events we held. You might think I'm being paranoid but it proved a point when at the meeting before the kids Christmas party, for one reason or another none of the women who are usually there could attend so what happened regarding the catering for the kids do - the landlady at the Crown was asked to provide the refreshments!

People have been criticising the Supporters Club since the Unibond Days, but there are enough people willing to muck in just no modern popular direction for everyone's efforts (Poker night excluded!)

Until it embraces what the supporters want it will be criticised

PS Before anyone jumps down my throat I won't be debating this issue as people ALWAYS think its a dig at individuals which it ain't
