There is a full report of the Stanley v Burnley game on the Charlton website http://www.charlton-athletic.co.uk/newsindex.ink but it doesn't state that he is going to be on loan to us for the season.

There's already a link to this from the fishy site match report page!

With regard to Saturday's programme, I have just noticed the mistake and I hold my hands up my apologies for any confusion caused. I will make sure that all the off-site writing is double, double checked before going to print next time!

Spoke to Robbie before the match last night and told him that the question was being asked on here... he would like to say that he has no plans on going anywhere else and stanley is the place he wants to be this season.

There are just a couple of things to be finalised between clubs and player before the season long loan signing is done.

Hope that helps :)

The OFFICIAL SITE has still not informed us about Rob Elliot, but take a look at this http://www.cafc.co.uk/newsview.ink?nid=24214&newstype=p

One of these days the OFFICIAL SITE will let the supporters know what is going on, but we don't know whether this news is true or not because it is not on the OFFICAL SITE.

Cheers Jeff - at least Charlton seem to know what's happening. Bit worrying that they could recall him in January though.

It's a shame the club don't use the website in the way it should be used. I suppose it's part of the learning curve that the club has to go through.

The transition from amateur to professional involves everyone at the club, not just the players. I'm sure it'll all come right soon.

This is our third season as a professional club, it should have come right by now.
