Miss Accy Stanley Fit bird competition

Now I know that it aint politically correct in this day and age but....... I reckon we should hold a competition to choose a Miss Accy Stanley.

evening dress
the obligational swimsuit
Q&A on ASFC

the winner must be a fan of the club, must be fit and would get her mug on all ASFC promotional literature, I am thinking along the lines of when the kit is released. The pictures that Morecambe (who have just signed Craig Stanley btw) put out every year look a hell of a lot more glamourous than our Paul Mullin piccies (sorry Paul no disrespect but you'll never make page 3).

your too late rob

i put this to the club months ago.. before end of last season and they said they will do it.... didnt go down too well with certain female accy fans though :)

it was all talked about on here.. i think we even had a vote.

Ah please, not this again! How tacky would it be - and you can talk for yourself Macca when you say Mully doesn't look glamourous enough, looks fine to me :)

I'm all for this idea. After all, we've had 30 years of this feminist malarkey and what good has it done? Nowt is the simple answer, for both men & women. However, women may have finally come to their senses. I read that courses for pole dancing and lap dancing are now double and triple overbooked; they're queuing round the block!

Anyway, if it goes ahead, my nomination for Miss Accy Stanley 2006 is Garinda.

Oh for god’s lads you’re just getting ridiculous now. I think she’s for too dodgy. Can you imagine her doing justice to our new kit? For too many lumps and bumps for the job in my opinion. :D

i will probably really upset some people, especially the PC brigade, but IMHO a womans' upper body looks really really good in the England shirt. I almost prefer it to a bikini. I just think that it would look as good in a stanley shirt and would shift more e-commercially.

Daft question of the week award goes to Alvin:)

In all seriousness though.. the club did say they thought it was a good idea when raised last year.... I wonder if they ahve changed there minds?

Why don't you make it politically correct by holding a Mr Accrington Stanley contest at the same time. That way the women can't complain because they're being treated equally to the men and the men can't complain because they're getting to see women in wet t-shirts!
