Space has been left behind each stand for the inclusion of a 'bar' portacabin, however I suspect its somewhat down to the logistics of having people to man it.

Well, I'm working the turnstiles, and have experience with pulling pints, so wouldn't be a problem for me to offer some help behind the bar.

yeah but you can't do both at the same time.

I rather think that it will be cans and plastic glasses in the bars behind the terraces.

Rome wasn't built in a day but rest assured that drink = profit that will help the club develop- so can only be a matter of time. As Sparkie said that answer really lies with the powers that be at the club-over to you Rob.

 Portacabin! Bloody hell. I hope we’re getting a beer garden to go with it, have you seen the size of some of these guys at the Clayton End. I’m a short arse; I’ll need to stand on a box to see the bloody bar.
<O:p
Moving on. How are we doing with collecting memorabilia for our Portacabin? Sorry, Bar? :)

Exactly.. bars = profit and they will arrive well before any roof that doesnt = profit.... not hard to work out :)

Re: blackburn game

Plastic glasses will be the order of the day as Glass is not allow on a football ground, also I would think you would only be allowed to drink in the bar itself as alcohol is not allowed on the terraces is any form.

I managed to collect quite a little stash last season from terrace drinkers, cans, bottles and even half a bottle of teachers whisky from a kind hearted away fan. We always tell people they can pick them up at the end of the game but they never do.

on with the bars now, unfortunately everything else took priority as it had to be in place before the burnley game, however as it has been pointed out, beer sales are an important part of matchday income and something that we will be making sure is sorted out as soon as possible!

Have alook at the Rovers forum - the're s******g themselves over the possibility of their pampered pansies getting injured!
How condescending can you get? They can't conceive of the possibility that we have skilful players who also might get injured!
