Re: Carling cup - Great news

I predict West Brom away

I would like. Everton away or Leeds away..

To be honest I wouldn't want any of those at home...

They'd all be great away draws, but seriously, I don't want a home match.

I would think if you want to get some money in then Villa away would probably be the best option while the O'Neill factor is still pretty new.

Historically, the early rounds of the Carling cup are not well supported, so I have to agree with Villa connection, although personally I would prefer Wigan or Middlesborough

Re: Carling cup - Great news

The villa angle does have a thingy... But I reckon the folk of Everton would show an interest and would be a decent crowd.... Leeds is just an awesome ground if you walk in the right entrance... low down , near half way and opposite the lurpack stand.. forget the silly name...its a truly awesome sight if you do the above..

My only visit to leeds utd was for an England v Italy game and I entered the ground as above.. all I could see was a wall of seats... I couldnt see anything else... other grounds you see a large stand.. floodlights, skyline or wahtever takes your eye... but there it was seats only as far as your eye could see when looking forward.. ie left right up down.... it was amazing..

same night one other amazing sight i wont forget.... had me laughing :) Check out the dopey burnley fan.. money well spent or what :)
