The lady who does 2BR is a Burnley fan first so it will be hard to forget. I Don't know who he supports. The man who does lancashire cover of stanley is a Blackburn fan.

So long as they feed us then who cares. But you can not accuse them of not knowing about other teams when they are supporters of other teams.

I listened to 2BR on Saturday (Swindon) for the first time and was very impressed with both DAN & KAREN.

Their commentary was clear precise understandable and honest well done to you both.

she was also an active, good at her job and successful employee of the club for a long time, as well as playing for Accrington Stanley ladies and standing on the terraces in the rain with the rest of the fans for a time. That is also hard to forget.

I think Dan and Karen do a great job, and I think Karen as summariser works really well because she and Dan have the same ideas about how the game should be played. A summeriser is there to expand and elaborate on the commentators commentary and also to put in their own ten penny worth, not to contradict the commentator as this would break up the flow of the commentary.

Sorry but 2BR have hit gold as far as I'm concerned!!!

Are there really? Never really noticed any coverage of these so called 'other North West teams'.

To be fair, we are the most famous North West Club, can hardly blame the media for not noticing the other Clubs around us.

A few weeks ago I had occasion to listen to 2br because I couldn't attend a particular match, and I was so annoyed with myself for getting the timing wrong.

Dan's commentary was absolutely superb, and Karen's occasional (oh, alright then, more than occasional) comments fitted in superbly.

In fact, I did something I've never done before. I emailed the station and told them how impressed I was with the standard of commentary . . . totally professional and of the highest order.

Accrington Stanley supporters are fortunate indeed to be able to enjoy such quality broadcasting.
