The "Now Show", (Radio 4), did a skit about a russian taking over a small club about a year ago. Yes, they used Stanley for comic affect, not their best sketch, but only because they didn't know Stanley are back !

IMO it would be great to have a people's team, paid for and run by it's supporters. It's not going to happen. In which case you go for someone who has Stanley at heart, errrm that'd be Eric then.

I really shouldn't get involved in this, I go to watch and support Stanley because of the bond with the players. The management team have players that give everything, week in and week out.

The management have set that up! I'm not going to knock them.

It's been a great 8 years for me, I've done things no sensible man of my age would do. If an Abramovich moved in, Id probably move out.
Today was great, saw some people who've stopped coming (!), need to get them back; some Bury fans, that I work with, on Whinney Hill, proper banter, like playing Worksop again!

Gone on long enough now. Final note, we had a team out there today that gave everything, that'll do for me.
