Even if we'd signed anyone this morning they wouldn't have been eligable for todays game as I believe its a minimum of 24 hours before you can play your new signings due to administration issues.

Players signed on loan could have played today, only players with permanent deals would have needed 24 hours.

Only reason I knew is because Leeds have signed a player on loan so he can play today, but he will sign permanent deal tomorrow. No suprise that Wise would know every possible way of bending the rules !
