2nd hand shirts
(just following an idea represented due to a new thread)
One idea I had before I started with the OSC was to utilise all the old shirts we have between us, and the foreign contacts we have with players like Boco, and try to get together a shirt collection to send to Benin or ........... wherever. Could we gather enough shirts and enough interest media wise to make this kind of thing work? That kind of publicity is invaluable to the club and guarantees you local press coverage and if gone about, regional press coverage. But I would imagine we would need around a thousand shirts and then sponsorhsip to actually get them to the source....... thoughts?

I think the only problem would be getting the amount of shirts needed to make it worthwhile

have to agree with the stannic simian - that's a lot of shirts - my lad's junior club send old kit to Romania every year - they only get about 2 sets from 20 odd teams
