There is no word to accurately portray the staggering level of ineptitude displayed by this afternoon's referee. It was a JOKE! A guy who was covering Shrewsbury from their local station concluded that "95% of all the decisions went our way, and the 5% that went to the team in red were reluctantly awarded."

If luck evens itself out over the course of a season we should get about thirteen penalties against Macc....

Speaking of which, for those who can't be there on Saturday, we will be. More details later.

Hope everything (except the bloody result! And Karen's singing!) was ok for everyone.

And Andy Cooke? I wasn't being less than complimentary. I was telling the truth. He has no pace!

Spot on. Can't blame the ref because he was on the wrong side of him, but that prick of a linesman surely should have flagged - but there again he couldn't see their offsides either, apart from one absolutely blatant one, which brought ironic cheers from all of us.:D

Can I just confirm there was NO conspiracy. She asked Tony to play Huey Lewis, and then started singing madly throughout the half time interval. He recorded it cos it was funny. I laughed cos it was funny and cos it was great compensation for the fact that the singing summariser was still in the pub at 2 o clock while I was on the radio... :D

That's ok and I hasten to add it wasn't a pub!!!! It was a posh cafe on the riverside where I had a ciabatta and cappucino so ner-ner and to be honest you can't go on a footie game without going for a drink before or after it's a ritual!!! And you didn't need me until 2.30pm and I arrived 2.09pm to help you Dan so stopped you panicking :-) lol. Just because you got stuck with Pukka Balti pies and cold tea lol!!!
