NEW STADIUM could this be on the cards ? if horseracing course gets go a head would stanley build new stadium along side..:unsure8:

Interesting concept seeing as the racecourse is planned to be built on land around Read, Simonstone & Altham. Guess the Altham side is in Hyndburn but can't see the other sides being used for Stanley's new ground as it will then be in Burnley :D

No idea where the new ground theory has come from. The article about the racecourse only mentions a centre of excellence sporting facility, I would guess that would be more equine than human ?

I believe Eric said this and something about Whitebirk in front of witnesses from the press and local council. Even though he did say it I'm sure he was only toying with ideas and would never sell the fans out for a new ground.;)

I heard someone on the bus saying the other day that it would be alright if they bought the land of the car place across from express gifts and built it there? Would sound alright , but id want the ground in accy not altham.

The part of Altham that borders with Burnley is.
I don't want to walk that far from Accy.
I really don't want to walk that close to Burnley.
...and the bus service around there is poo from accy.
