Hi there. First post from me, have been a part-time Stanley watcher since 2002. Recently moved to Accy so I'll be on more often from now.
Glad to the see that the club have taken over the Crown, should provide good revenue for them. Anyone know if there will be any real ales on?

Re: Crown

To emphasise the Stanley theme will there be any old Peel Park Memorabilia in there?

I am thinking of things like that marvellous old maroon Accrington Stanley FC sign on the Football Phoenix video.

If we'd stuck to our guns & not let any away fans in, then we would have lost out on hundreds of pounds. It's the same every home match. Stanley fans either call into a few pubs on their way to the game, or, they come out later. Away fans tend to arrive a lot earlier.

Kipax, we still owe you a couple of pints for letting us use your photo's last season.

:D

I was in some of the times I was down and the banter was good with the away fans, especially the Grimsby game where both the the Grimsby fan I spoke to and I were both Gers fans. And the beer was better than the Crown.
