Life went on after Craney and Roberts went...didn't it?

The context I read it in sounded like you where 'avin a swipe, as it was not the case then no bother.:)

And yes life did and still is going on after the two afore mentioned roof payer-forers.:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Best of luck to Mango, whatever he does I say.

It's a shame he hasn't showed the promise he did in his first game for us(Cardiff pre-season) he was on trial and absolutely outstanding.

Wasn't his debut against some non-league team in a pre-season game? Staleybridge rings a bell.

Dunno, could've sworn it was cardiff, however I'd had a few and can't remember the score. I do remember he made a few and scored at least 1 poss 2.

It may well have been staleybridge giving trhe ammount of goals scored...

Got me thinking now...

I couldn't fault Mangan for his effort and endeavour. Had decent pace and a reasonably fierce shot. Sadly his shot accuracy, his temper and the fact that a half decent centre half could mark the lad out of the game has ultimately led to his exit.
If he is in trial at Morecambe, good luck to the lad ! And the best of luck to Morecambe. The more derbies the better !:):)

Talking about strikers, what would you all think about the return of this man?

Red Passion Online Message Board - McEvilly told he can leave.

i'd have a fit Evil back no questions, but it reads a sthough he is less fit than when he went and has certainly made few friends at Wrexham.

Undoubtedly a class player but I believe part of the reason he went was precisely because he didn't get on people and that won't change.

I'd say thanks but no thanks. He's one player I would certainly not want to see back at Stanley, not a team player at all and they don't call him sick-note at Wrexham for nothing.

Quite agree. I hope Coley was just renewing old acquaintances and nothing more!

Tin Monkey 11-07-2007 08:33

Re: Andy Mangan

McEvilly certainly has enormous ability and would be great up front in L2. However, time and again he let's himself down by falling out with his colleagues, which in turn creates a bad team spirit. Add to that his lack of fitness and it's not a pretty picture.

I'd have very mixed feelings if he were to return.
