Don't you find it difficult to come on here and be so unintelligent or does it come naturally ?

I would have thought that your position at the club demanded a modicom of intelligence, obviously not or they wouldn't have hired you would they?

The Supporters Club las night unveiled plans to hold an exhibition within the town. The exhibition will be a fans perspective of the history and heritage of Accrington Stanley. As a club we will go out and interview fans of all shapes and sizes, age and race and include what they have to say about their first match, the day we closed etc. There will be educational features built into the exhibition so that we can invite schools along to study the club, we will provide transport for the Old Folks homes to send people up.

In a nutshell it is a massive project that is going to get us in the media a lot and is going to involve many different people and parts of the community. It's going to take a fair bit of money to do this so it is a good job we have £48k worth of Heritage Lottery money in the bank :D

Not quite so tinpot now eh Poppy? Idiot.

Was it last year or the year before that it was decided to hold an exhibition within the town or is this a new exhibition ? If plans have been unveiled where and when is this exhibition to be held ?

I don't really understand how you can call it a secrets club?? It was open to everyone. If you could be assed to show up you probably wouldn't feel the same...

It was a great meeting and to share this windfall with the club

But we must say a big thanks to Gayle Knight and OSC treasurer Bill Nuttall for applying and working tirelessly towards getting this lottery funding.. so big thumbs up to them especially and anyone else who helped along the way.

BUT it is only the beginning .............

This is good work and can be the dawning of a new chapter for the OSC & ASFC. I hope that many of the suggestions that where put forward by supporters last years will get a dusting off and find there way into the proposed format for the future exhibition.

By the way Apologies for Monday, again the bogie man got to my wallet before me.

By the sound of it Doug Poppy is the one with a Sad on sitting in the corner with his mates...or lack of them, Wishing he'd had this idea 1st!! :D:D

Good work Macca and the gang keep up the good work...!!

Just an idea how about getting some info at Ossy Mills as well?? If you are working more closely with the club why not have a bit near the Stanley merchandise which may generate more interest and may increase sales which will get money back into the club...?? Just an idea.

Tractorboy Red :)
