Would be great if one week we could get Celtic Cross down there at the FES doing a live set that I am sure would really pump the fans up!!:):)

yeah iv got to agree, it has to be cart on stanley. we shouldnt be copying any other club like sunderland, we should do our own thing.

The tune that has made me laugh/cringe most was Bradford Park Avenue playing Eddy Grant's, "Electric Avenue". :o

got to say this is one place that ricky kirby is right in my opinion, as his email pointed out it was coley who has asked for the current music which the teams run out to

Personally, I'd go for Cart On but if Coley has a preference then I'm happy for his choice to be played.

As for Loweiy's initial question, there's a thread on this site that lists some of the tunes that are played: Pre Match Entertainment - Football Ground Guide. They seem a bit confused about what's really played at Sunderland (and PNE). Every other site seems to say it's Dance Of The Knights from Romeo & Juliet but this site has it as Wagner's Ride of the Valkyries. You can check them both out at

One song I forgot about and in my view is genuinely uplifting and inspiring, Could have a little Stanley connection in the title is:
