Re: car convoy

Sounds like you are all going to have serious traffic problems tonight, so using my local knowledge I have found a quicker route.

On leaving the Oaklea, turn right and join the M65 at the Dunkenhalgh, take the Colne signs. Follow the M65 until J10 and on leaving the motorway follow the signs that say Football.

Easy done in 20 minutes and you can sit down when you get there :D:p

Thanks - wow! Hope my mate's a good navigator.

I suggest downloading google earth, you can see the roads I've described very clearly.

There's also another way turning left instead of right at J34 into lancaster. Not easy to describe and not a chance with satnav as none of them know the old railway bridge is open to cars.

Re: car convoy

Well, the bridge over the lune to morecambe from lancaster is already three solid lanes of traffic and it's backed up into lancaster, the joys of having an office that overlooks it all. Good luck!

Throwing streamers is Hooliganism but driving dangerously where workmen may be in the road is OK?
