Just got back from the game after a few celebratory jars in the local !!:D

Solid performance, great 1st half, had to weather a bit of a Morecambe backlash in the 2nd, but all in all nothing more than we deserved tonight. Could have been 3 up at the break.

Dunbavin had a blinder, made some crucial saves and when he may have been beaten, there seemed to always to be someone there to make the block!! We all knew that Morecambe would come after us in the second half, but the side adopted a little of what i'd call the "siege mantality" and held them.

I'm a bit bemused by the attitude of the stewards at that place. Celebrations (which may have been deemed a little over the top by the officials there) have to be taken into context. For Lads to end up with a ban for something so trivial is ludicrous. For crying out loud, they weren't throwing flares or any missile with an intent to injure anybody !! Just over zelous celebrations which should have been taken into account(with reference to the situation) by the authorities. Mind you,some folk have nothing better to do with theirselves. Get a bit of authority and it goes to their head.

nah it was nowhere near as bad, but it was the wrong time of the match, they were late in and maybe the start of second half would have been better

you'll never stand there in silence. The support ralied and we had good moments. There was lulls in the noise in the second half but with most of the play going in the opposite direction and the Ultras spread out it was never gonna really happen like it could. That said the first 20 minutes was awesome. Numerous texts received said that all you could hear on the radio was Stanley, that'll do for me.

don't be daft Zero, one in one out, if somebody aint making th enoise then someone else will, guaranteed, somebody will always step up to the oche. Jase has done some phenomenal things for the support but tonight maybe he overstepped the mark? He knows what went on outside to gtet nicked but it was a no-brainer that he was gonna get chucked out for the till-rolls during the game, nobody really cares at the start of the game. People got hit, stewards, Stanely fans, Bavs was only inches away from one on the chin and you could see the whole team kinda looking and asking why?

But anyroads, the support was good, but could have been better, the team were good but never great. They deserved the points for the resolute defending and excellent attack on the break football.

Well done Stanley, we are now firmly in the top half

i for one have been a friend on jase for a long time,and he has done a lot for asfc re flags and banners,but according to football league ground rules,throwing missiles which till rolls are considered to be is an offence and deemed dangerous and is punishable by law,gone are the days when you could throw toilet rolls (back in the 70,s),even when we were in the unibond league we got away with it and i have thrown a few myself,i just hope that the officials at asfc including EW realise what an asset as a fan jase is and only ban him for a few games.

Well done to the lads last night, gutted I couldn't be there but sounded brilliant on the radio. As for the till roll throwing, as others have said, fine before or even after the game but not during it - especially just after we'd scored - what were they thinking?

.....this hurts, but well -played in the first half when you had us chasing shadows for a 10 minute period just before H/T.:(:(:(

Thought a draw would have been a fair result but credit you guys in holding out.

Suprised that only 374 of you turned up. Just a pity that some idiots had to act like school children. Totally justified in whatever punishment they get.

Why surprised? As a percentage of our hard core home support we have the best away support in the league.:)
On balance of play you deserved a draw, but since when did that count for anything?

i think the till roll situation is overshadowing a very good away performance again. ( just need the same at home now) first half we were excellent fast counter attack football mixed with some quality possesion when needed. second half, fair play to morecambe they upped there game the lad baker who was very poor in the first half really came into the game. but credit were credits due the lads defended fantastically every one of them from mullin to bav. there was always some one there to make last ditch tackles which for me is good defending/covering. Jay harris was my mom full of energy and quality just edged out bav and cav

One of them was the main man behind our support of Morecambe at your place not so long ago against Hereford. Do you still think he deserves all he gets for chucking a single deadly toilet roll for Christie's sake?
