World Wide Reds Shirt Sponsorship again
 

So, lets have a good head start this year and try to fill as many shirts as possible. I'll get confirmation from the club as to how much sponsorship will be this year but we'll work on £100 a shirt again for a rough guess.

We managed three shirts last time - can we do five?

Shirts have been sent all over the world (well Canada and Norwich) recently so we know that everybody stands an equal chance. I have won twice but auctioned the shirts off both times raising over £100 for the OSC so again the sponsorship has a positive effect.

We'll run this one until the end of July? and then get the names booked up.

Once we know who the squad is then we can vote for who we want to sponsor.

If anybody wants to have multiple entries then your first goes into shirt one, 2nd into shirt 2 etc, first names down fill a shirt and so on until we can't fill one, so early birds are more guaranteed.

So for the those that haven't done it before, I am looking for ten people to pay £10 each to sponsor a players shirt for next season. Anybody who chips in will go into a draw at the end of the season (held at Presentation Evening) to see who wins that shirt. I can send paypal requests if necessary although it will be slightly more to allow for download costs.

I've just had a word with Gavin about whose shirts are available. Kenny Arthur, Paul Mullin, Ian Craney and Leam have gone (home and away). Other than that they are all available. If we are quick it can go in tomorrows programme but if not then we will book them in for the next one. Please put your nominations in as soon as possible. 3 points for nomination 1, 2 pts for nom 2 and one point for nom 3 - the winners are whoever has the most points.

There is still room for 5 more people if anyone else wants to part with a tenner (or an extra one for anybody?). Just reply on here or send me a PM please.

If we don't get the extra bodies I'll have to see about trying to get one cheaper and maybe booking up one of the fringe players that doesn't usually get sponsored. If that happens I'll split the groups into 9 people and have three groups of 9 and one of 8. We'll re-jig the groupings slightly and then draw for who gets what group.

right folks thanks for your efforts.

we currently have 35 names so I'll put in another tenner to round it up to 36 and hop ethe powers that be will let us have four shirts @ £90 (unless another four people want to chip in - post ASAP please).

For those that haven't yet voted please do so as fourth place is currently tied between Murdock, King and Miles, with Proccy and Oniwotsisface not far behind (or Coley - please clarify Bagpuss). If no decision made by monday then I'll give each of them a coin (metaphorically) and play heads or tails to eliminate.

each group now has 9 members, as soon as I have confirmation of the shirts we get I will draw groups/shirts, I've tried to ensure that family members/multiple entries are not in the same groups thus giving a greater chance of not ending up with a sold player etc.

forgot to post this the other week, Cav and Edwards were both taken (overnight mysteriously to the same person - someone who reads this?). Anyway so both subs were called into play and we now have Chris King, Colin Murdock, and Bobby Grant home shirts and John Miles away shirt sponsored by the World Wide Reds. Great effort everybody.

I still have not received an email address for Michigan Red to pay for Paypal so I have paid it. Therefore Ossy Kid moves into pot 1 in place of Michigan Red and I take Ossy Kids place in pot 3. Pots 1,2,3 and 4 will be drawn against shirts 1, 2, 3 and 4 next time I am with anyone else who is involved.
