Old shirts - any sign?

Sorry to partly hijack your thread title, Kiwi. But I'm wondering if anyone who sponsored a shirt last season has received it. I still await my two shirts. I cannot understand why it is so difficult to distribute these sponsored shirts. This is the third consecutive year that there has been what I consider to be an unacceptable delay.

The three shirts we sponsored on here we got for the presentation night, once again we have basic Google Page Ranking problems, how difficult can it be to get it right?

RR PM on way ( next job)

The Message Board shirts were available at the Coley Okay night as Macca had the good sense to ask Mick Schultz for them after the Wrexham game, hence them being at the do. ( they were all away shirts I think):)

I'll ask Mick s tonight, to whom he has passed the sponsored shirts, and if he knows of a reason why they are not available.

Perhaps they're being used at the exhibition!!!

Nice to see Mark communicating with the fans and helping to sort things out. If the club had any sense they'd appoint him as Google Page Ranking Officer!

Re: Old shirts - any sign?

Thanks for the kind words.

HOWEVER, my day to day comments are a personal opinion, its the full time employees that state the Google Page Ranking and day to day running of the club.

Whilst we all get frustrated I ask us all to remember that we have 7 full time "non football" staff. For example Bury have 22!!

We all spend our time searching internet sites; when you have 10 minutes to spare, look at the other teams whom we play, and count up their office staff. It's yet another team table we sit proudly at the bottom of:)

your worried about sponsorship shirts - i still havent received my ebay items and no communication from hayes since i replied (3 times ive pm him to get in touch again - no reply) to his apology on a pm.

why is it so hard to pick up the phone or reply to a PM on this board?

your sponsorship shirts can wait.

Whilst I understand your points SR and those people do a wonderful job in keeping the Club running on a day to day, but you can't just live for today you have to plan for tomorrow and the next day etc.

You sometimes have to speculate to accummalate!

It dosn't take much to undermine and set the tongues wagging when things go wrong in any walk of life and then bury our heads in the sand and hope it goes away! But reality has a habbit of biting you back!

I still think that some of the Best and Key Signings Stanley could make this Summer would be some more Staff in key areas, areas that would be self funding in terms of extra revenue that could and would be brought into the Club with the right planning, backing, budgeting and promoting:)

Also being customer friendly dosn't cost anything:eek:

Well can you please sort out dav007 because I for one will not even look at what you are offering never mind buy. Why is it that I have never been let down by the unoffical sellers of Stanley merchandise? Maybe they value my custom and want me to buy again !!!

Sorry - I have no idea who you are or that you have any official connection with the club. My address has not changed from that used to send out last season's shirts - and the season before. Nor has it changed from the letter which accompanied the cheque I sent to pay the sponsorship. My address is also the same as that used to send out the shirt I won on ebay (sorry, DAV007, but mine did eventually arrive!). When I won that shirt, I did suggest that all 3 be sent together.

Your posting raises many issues - here are just 3.
1. Have I missed an announcement that you are the contact who will deal with "any question or problem any supporter has"? Many apologies if I have missed this announcement.
2. Does your statement mean that negative comments may not now be posted?
3. What about the shirts sponsored by those who are do not contribute to the message board?

The bottom line to all this is : is the club doing things in a professional way? In the latest player sponsorship list on the fishy site, is it professional to see Ian Dunbavin's name twice (but not Colin Murdock)? Is it professional to be offering "part of Stanley's kit from their first season in the Football League"?

This is not just nit-picking. It is about getting the simple things right. Hopefully, once the club has a philosophy of "getting it right", it will then be easier to get the more difficult things right. And, let's be honest, there have been some spectacular examples of getting it wrong over the last 3 seasons.

DAV007 is a classic example of the malaise that lies at the heart of Stanley's commercial operation. He's an ex-Everton season ticket holder who this time last year was waxing enthusiastically about the unique atmosphere and spirit he had discovered at Stanley and was even talking about bringing other new faces along. That enthusiasm has gradually been knocked out of him by the service he has received from the club - products undelivered, queries unanswered; in short, a thoroughly shoddy standard of customer service. People like DAV007 - new fans and converts from other clubs - are exactly the sort of people that Stanley must attract, yet we seem to be doing our best to drive them away!

The club has just received a major publicity boost in the form of the exhibition. Could I please implore those who run the club to use this as a fresh starting point and to start offering a more user-responsive and efficient service to DAV007, Revived Red and to all Stanley fans, old and new in order to build our support base for the future.

Ah, well. I suppose I'd better update readers on the shirt saga. Someone did find my address. The shirts duly arrived. Unsigned!! So... they are now winging their way back to the FES. Watch this space.

Re: Old shirts - any sign?

Mine arrived on thursday.
No mug but a scarf and car kit to make up for it - fair enough.
Shame it took so long.
Thanks for finally getting it to me.
