That tall lad actually played against us for Cambridge (at the Abbey) in our last season in the Conference. I'm not even going to attempt to spell his name, but in that game he ripped us apart, running at us with pace and skill. A real handful. Not sure if he showed enough tonight though.

Out of interest, as I was leaving the club shop tonight after picking up my season ticket, I bumped into David Moyes. I suppose he wanted to keep an eye on the young lads.

Not sure, but if you keep using text-speak you're likely to get your posts deleted. :D

Maybe becuase you were playing a team that plays football where it's supposed to be played, on grass. Unfortunatley most League 2 football is played somewhere up near the flight path for Manchester Airport :D

he was very good first half tht number 10! did some good touches, specialy like the one where he flicked it onto the other attacker, hope he signs for us1 but looking at fishy site tonight with the offical squad numbers thier is only 20! he was injuryed 2nd half but still put in a good effort. you could see he still wanted to give is all even though he was in pain! word is he played for swindon last year i think it were when they played against us

Was it this guy then:

Fola Onibuje - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I saw him play us for Swindon under Wise. He was a handful and our inability to contain him let him free up the wing to lay on Peacock's goal.

Paul Sturrock did not want him:

SWINDON TOWN: Onibuje: ‘Sturrock never gave me a chance’

He had him out on loan to Brentford within days of arriving saying "I played striker and....." basically he did not fit in with his ideas.

Remember he said similar before he released 6' 4" Kim Olsen who he'd inherited at Sheffield Wednesday.
