1-1
Joke of a penalty apparently.

Let's hope we don't fall apart now - Rochdale are a decent side (promotion material in my book when they play well) but they've been erratic this season.

******. 1-2

Why wasn't Jimmy Ryan on the right from the start? Clarke is a striker, nothing else!

Oh dear - that's it now then - 3-1 to Rochdale.

Maybe playing players in their actual positions would be a step forward? Who knows.

Re: Today v Rochdale

It's time to get real folks - unless we change our horribly stale tactics of hoofing the ball up in Mullin's general direction as soon as we are under any sort of pressure we are going down. OK, it was a decidedly dodgy penalty, and we had done OK up until then, but this team only knows one way to play when chasing the game. The only way we can be effective with Mully leading the line is if we have genuine wingers getting to the by-line to put in a supply of centres, but we don't have the players any more for this. If we don't find a new approach through coaching we are doomed, notwithstanding the penalty points suffered by the 3 teams at the bottom of the league. Wake up John and Jimmy - get the team playing proper football. Just for one example, why, oh why can Kenny not be told to roll the ball out to his full-backs once in a while instead of you know what?
By the way, Clarke is a waste of time at the moment, showing no desire or fight, and I can only think the reason he plays is due to the conditions of his loan? We can't afford any passengers in a relegation dog fight, which is where we are headed. Ominous sign today was the complete lack of applause from the Ultras at the end - first time I've seen that.
