Just thought that I'd attempt to inject a little sanity into the gradually decreasing quality threatening any longevity that this thread might hope to harbour !.
Now, it is true to say that Alfred.E. usually enjoys the company of the usually perspicacious and socially-acceptable denizens of Aigburth. But on this occasion avers that he is somewhat surprised that the visitor to our Forum from this suburb of that great City of Liverpool has allowed a perfectly acceptable opening posting to disintegrate into a not-so-clever, grammatically abysmal, and, quite frankly, yawn-producing exchange of useless protestations with the generally friendly and welcoming fellows and lassies who inhabit our Forum.
Perhaps, as I often do, I am mistaking his feeble bleatings for an honest attempt at making a little friendly banter with us all....If this is the case then his sad critique of the mode of spelling and the expressing of many of the words from the English language employed by 'our' Grimps' would not confirm my thinking !.
As I find myself being in total agreement with my alter-ego,
I would suggest to him that if he has nothing else of interest to tell us about the Team which he supports, and their hopes for he game at the FES on Saturday, then he might disappear and find another Forum to infest with his ineloquent attempts at entertaining badinage !!.
Assuring this man/ woman ( It is impossible to assess the exact gender from his/her postings!..... Alfred.E suggests that much of what he says could have emitted from the mouth of an 'old woman' )..of a warm welcome to our small but visitor-friendly Stadium !.........Sayonara !!
