Sportsman's Dinner
 

Gents (sorry ladies:))

The Directors of ASFC are in the process of organising a Sportsman's Dinner in the Buy the House Lounge (Sportsbar) on Friday 20th of February.

This is an open invite to all fans of the club, with a particular empahise on the exiles to join us on a evening of merriment. ( we were critised on the message board at the last dinner for not offering an open invite)

We have booked Martin Dobson ( ex Burnley, Everton & England) as the guest speaker and Mike Kelly (TV Comic) as the speakers, with a top class 4 course meal.

The idea of a Friday before on home game (v D&R) is that long distance supporters could do the dinner and the match in one weekend. Discounts for the dinner + basic hospitality for the match have been arranged.

The dinner is selling now at £30 per ticket.

Dobbo is my favourite all time player and I was gutted when he was sold to pay for a stand :mad:

Wish I could afford to go but unfortunatley a £30 dinner while the rest of the household are on jam butties is a tad extravagant at this moment in time. :)

Come on guys .... anymore for a night out, can we fill an accyweb table. One of the cheif organisers of the dinner is "Southern Red" a director who come s on here and always trys to help whatever the problem, lets get behind Mark and his fellow directors and have a good night out in the process.

I am bringing a mate so thats 2 Macca is up for it as is Redash, Lancs Dave come mate its yer man Dobbo anymore please post so Mark can give you a call.
