Can't fully blame Phil. The Shrews player had skinned Chris King and Phil was trying to cover for him and unfortunately the Shrews player knew what he was doing and went down.

Re: Shrewsbury Away (match thread)

We had most of the possesion for the match, but didn't really threaten them.

IF Jimmy Ryan's wonder strike had gone in, rather than hit the bar and come out, then 30 secs later Chris King loses possesion, Phil clips their player in the box, ref sees nothing BUT "johnny big time linesman" enthuiastically flags for the pen, IT WOULD HAVE BEEN A DIFFERENT GAME, 2ND HALF.

But thats football, 1 move, 1 miss can change the game.

Shrewsbury's playing budget is double+ ours, yet they had the breaks we did not!!

In the last five minutes the new lad and PhiL Edwards should have both scored.

Lets be positive, our next 4 games are all winnable:)

I wasn't having a go a Phil Jeff, just saying that some were quick to jump on Colin on Saturday and no matter how good a player is, they're only human and can all make the odd mistake.
