Close range effort in the dying minutes. How many times have we seen that?

Time for Coleman to roll out the usual speech.

1-0 full time, we've dropped a place, but crucially the 3 important teams didn't gain any ground on us.

That point would have been worth three as it would have deprived them of two extra points which they have now got.

An expensive afternoon all round.

Clarke scored on his home debut for Rotherham.

Realistically, Grimsby, Barnet and Chester are our rivals.

Yes their manager specifically mentioned they had "moved above Accrington" in his post match interview on Radio Sheffield which just rubbed salt in the wound.

no complaints about the result today - AFCB were quicker to the ball and accurate with their passing. Have never seen PM dominated in the air before - young Everton lad stiffled out of the game. Thought Cav was outstanding today and both the L'pool loanee and Sean Mc looked exciting prospects when they came on. This 4-5-1 lark don't suit us and despite all the 'so nearly' stories this season, the plain truth is we can't hit the net often enough to be anything other than decent also-rans.

A hugely disappointing performance. We seemed to be back to the old ploy of hoofing the ball down the middle and expecting a flick-on from Paul Mullin. Sadly PM won virtually nothing in the air.

Kenny Arthur kept us in the game with at least three superlative saves, and Cav and Phil Edwards played quite well.

Too many of our players seemed to lack too many basic skills. Individually, no-one was able to control the ball. If this is an ongoing problem, it is pointless passing to our players - the ball should be played into space for someone to run on to. That rarely happened today, at least not with Stanley. It certainly did with Bournemouth. When a Stanley player passed to a team-mate, it was invariably too slow and laboured and too predictable. If the ball reached the intended player, as I've already said, he could not control it.

I saw no attempt to draw Bournemouth defenders and midfielders out of position. Cav made a couple of forays forward but I can recall only one from Leam. I wonder if he is fully fit. He was replaced by James Bell whose sole contribution was a dreadful foul.

We rarely won the second ball - or the first, for that matter!

LongLostSon notes that we cannot hit the net often enough. We rarely got anywhere near it today.
