having visited most grounds in the country wi my mates, found some are certainly a bit iffy fer away fans, fer example The Den, St Andrews,Upton Park,Prenton Park, Stamford Bridge, i assumed rightly or wrongly? many of the young uns that travel wi Stanley may not have? is it wrong to give em a heads up,?

QPR are managed by Jim Magilton who took Gary Roberts from us to Ipswich and then decided he was not part of his plans.

the numpties are at most grounds and many Stanley have run into the gob****es. None of the Stanleyites give em anything to respond to and they are on their way.

We can do these stripey buggers so get yerselves booked on the coach. Any of teh Southern based Reds offering opinion yet?

I think the problem with London grounds is that rent-a-mob can move round very easily, often nothing to do with the host club. I remember going to Leyton Orient years ago and we had loads of problems with West Ham fans, who of course could get in our end easily with a claret & blue scarf.

When I last visited Loftus Road in 1981 Sheffield Wednesday won 2-1 finishing with 10 men the police were pulling supporters out of our end and I remember it was unclear why.

Just as well Millwall have been drawn at West Ham - all the numpties will be there. Battle royal. Shades of Green Street (film) about football hooliganism but mainly between Hammers fans and Millwall. QPR should be a walk in the park

:tongueout

I've not been to see them yet this term. Went a few times last year. The ground is a bit past its sell-by for an aspiring premier league club, with stands very tightly packed around the pitch, but that does mean it can generate a great atmosphere when it's full. I wouldn't have thought it would be much more than half full for a tuesday league cup R2 though - 7,000 or so?

Last season was a bit stop-start for them with three different managers.. The continental connection in the boardroom and for a while through Sousa meant they had access to loads of italian and spanish loaners who mostly flattered to deceive, and looks like they might have gone down a similar route again with this Pellicori guy. They'll definitely get it down and play football. It's not a team built too heavily on brawn other than in the obvious places - the centre halves and Mahon in midfield. I guess Agyemang and Helguson up front are no shrinking violets neither. Routledge is probably their best-known threat, but for me the best players i've seen play there are Rowlands, Vine and Buzsaky - all of whom got bad injuries last year but are now back, i think.

Don't think the defence is up to the standard of the midfield and although the rangers fans seem to like Cerny in goal, he's looked a bit error-prone whenever i've seen him.

If they play the fringe players, Hogan Ephraim (L - sided attacking MF) is one who's been around the first team for a while with bags of ability but without really nailing down a spot (think Bobby Grant) while everyone expects big things of Angelo Balanta up front.
