How come the amounts from the bucket collections at Anfield and Ewood haven't been added to the totals yet? After all, it's over a week ago since they took place!

Not only that, there have been other things as well, 50/50 draw money V Crewe, sponsored walk - policemen, Rewind in Burnley ....Surely some monies should have been added by now??? This is not aimed at the person responsible for updating, as they can only update when told by club!

I mentioned this to the club (Martin) about this on friday, and Martin said because the donations aren't coming in as fast as earlier weeks the updates would be done every few days instead of daily and thats why the updated daily was removed from the site, The last one I received was Friday 01/10/08.

From now on I will post in here when I update the site and then you dont have to keep refreshing the SOS page. :)

It's also important for public relations that the thermometer is kept up to date. Otherwise there is a danger that cynicism could creep in and affect the fundraising efforts.

I posted that comment on 7 September.

This...plus today's news can have nothing but a demotivating effect on the efforts of Fundraisers RR!...someone said to me yesterday 'But who's going to give to a cause which appears to be going down the Pan ??'...which I thought to be a bit cynical at the time....but Now....Well ...???

' STANLEY...WHERE ARE YOU GOING ???'

Thanks AccyRed :) We really have to keep the focus on the S.O.S. We must raise as much as we can for the good of the club. :)

Fear not, Baggy, lad, I reckon they're waiting until the directors have sorted out what their own personal contributions are going to be, then they're going to bung it all in at once to give the fund a REAL morale booster! Oh yes indeed!
