In my view the old regime is still in power and until that regime crumbles the club WILL NEVER PROGRESS. It will never attract new investors.
.

As I have posted on another thread, it appears that nothing short of a revolution will save the club from being thrown out of the league, but how to bring it about?

Give that man a medal.

If you are asking what my vision is and there is a vision it is a revolution.

THE FIRST STAGE

You have to remove the meglamaniacs, egos and eccentrics that occupy office at present.Without that you will get the same old over and again. And sane people like me would never entertain investing.

THE SECOND STAGE
Administration. Not the end of the world as some would have you believe.

THE THIRD STAGE
The formation of a supporters trust to take over the running of the club. Possibly with 4/5 major shareholders who can own no more than 10% of the club. The fans owning a min of 50%.A board of 10 with no powerbroker with elected fans.

Sketchy on detail at present I know but time limited at present.I will provide more detail on this shortly.

Finally please understand I hold key the preservation of Accrington Stanley FC. But personally I anticipate that there will be pain first.

Sometimes you have to root out the old to grow the new even if that is not pleasant.

How many people at Stanley have previous experience of working within/running a football club would explain my point better without being derogatory to those people.

Relegation finance wise would be a disaster.... not too mention having to go to Barrow, Altrincham & York

I vote for trying to find an Accrington fan who has a bit of money, flog him some shares & pay the tax bill. everyone is happy & I don't have to travel down the A590 to inbredville

that is true. But don't use the same bricks and mortar.

I would whole heartedly support a Supporters Trust. The idea was mentioned again at the beginning of June but we went down the Ilyas route as time was always short. If enough people were to step forward to run such an enterprise then it would work

Re: Stanley deserve to die

Thankyou.

Short term fixes are not the answer.A supporters trust is the LONG TERM.
Football fans like quick fixes like we have lost 4 games so we will sack the manager....as my last post LETS THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX

It would need a core of substantial investors and maybe 500-1000 trust members.

And I think it will happen. Like minded people need apply.
