Less than a week to go.
Is there anything we can do as fans to find out the clubs future ?
Direct or not ?

Fill out a holiday report?

The whole affair is absolute garbage! Maybe a clean sweep and restart is the only way forward?

Questions about how the whole business has been handled really must be asked and answered, whether or not the tax bill is paid. It seems to me that the longer it goes on without any meaningful announcement being made, the more doubtful it becomes that the bill can indeed be paid.

I feel that the fans have been very badly let down. They have put a huge amount of effort into the SOS Appeal, but the communication from the club has been too little, too generalised and too contradictory.

If Mr.O'Neil is indeed on the walk to Rochdale as reported, then he'd better have some convincing answers ready.
Mussolini's fate at the end of WW2 will seem like a cake-walk by comparison if it all eventually goes t**s up.

I consider you a friend; but to me talk like that, joking or not can only be detrimental; if David O’Neil or any managers, directors or phone sales girls attend the walk they should be welcomed and accommodated. They will have bigger sponsors and above that their presence should be seen as a gesture of solidarity.

Rob as asked for a fans forum; that should be the only place for venting spleens and wiping your ropes out.

I appreciate your point of view, Doug, but surely the time has passed for patiently waiting for our fate? If there is not a big problem why have the club not allayed our fears? We all appear to be sleep-walking to disaster, although I hope with all my heart I am wrong. If the powers that be are in attendance on the walk I will welcome the opportunity to politely ask what the plan is, but if there are no satisfactory answers at this late stage, surely you would agree that we are doomed?

We’re not doomed; they have too much to lose personally and like you say if they did **** us over they would have nowhere to hide.

Over the last few months seven or eight of us have criticized, pilloried, slagged and whinged our way out of their hearts, they owe us nothing. The vast majority of supporters have said little if anything and have trusted that all will be ok; and it will be ok in the end.

It’s the future we need to focus on; how can we help them move forward and by doing that we will assure ourselves of a future and reward what the lads are doing on the pitch.

If we keep on moaning and criticizing they will just shut the door even firmer.

That said a lot of good stuff has come out of discussion on this site, it wouldn’t hurt Mr. O’Neil or the club to take note and learn to work with us, and visa versa.

Re: Direct action

i was asked today why are you dragging a 9yr old child baby in buggy and child in wheelchair all the way to rochdale for a club who still wont confirm the tax bill will be settled?

i didnt even to think about my answer

because that club means the world to my 9 yr old child, that child believes in her club, that child has not had her£2 sweet money a week since the SOS appeal started

all the blaming name calling etc.....will not pay the taxman!

If and it is HUGE IF the taxman is not paid then the name calling blame etc....is needed but the club is still here!

take yourself back to the start of the appeal remember the passion you had to save our stanley and take that with you every step you take on sat morning

i ve sat with a little girl sobbing her heart out so much so school have rang me she was not sick she was not be bullied she was not in trouble she was so scared she wouldnt have a stanley

the club could of handled this so so much better but they havent we cant change that but we can put our hands on our hearts and say we did everything we could

i may of not put this all down very well but im sat here watching my daughter making a banner to take on her walk on sat and all she does is turn and say

"mum look look its great im doing it really neat, ill b taking it to my games in november, wont i"

I ve got to have faith for her sake if a 9yr old believes stanley be here in november cant we grow ups?

is it not time no matter what your views of people in the club were put to one side and the passion for stanley was at the fore most of this appeal?

ill stop now because im just waffling

Pop in chat to Rob & David, its the only way. Scribbling on here won't help, D'On doesn't read it. Said if he did he wouldn't get anything done but replying to fans threads........

When will people realize, these 'Self Serving Pigs', have no interest whatsoever in what any off us fans think..
Perhaps if our co-chairman is on the walk on saturday, he will tell us, (if anyone one asks that is), if he has started signing the cheques yet !!.
