If the company goes bust, the directors will be banned from holding a directorship elsewhere, so they can't start up a new company.
Also shar holders will be chased for the debt of the company.

It's a Limited company, nobody will be chased for the debt of the company.

That's good.
Is the information about directors right though?

Whatever is registered at Companies House is legally correct.

No, I meant directors of a failed company, being banned from being directors of other companies.

Re: 1000 Shares Issue!!!

yes its ture although the length of time they are banned can be varied

imho thats why PM stepped down as it was a huge risk to his other business and he could foresee the appeal failing long before anyone else ie without taking IK offer the club were unable to pay the debt

how right was that!

Thanks Katei, That's why, in my opinion, O'Neill's name is not at companies house.

Re: 1000 Shares Issue!!!

you have hit the nail on the head he can run the club into the gound and walk away

EW is not bothered as far as i aware he is not a director for any other businesses thats why he also stepped down

most of the other directors are semi/fully retired so wouldnt effect them much

the remaining directors i am unsure of what postion this would leave them in if the club was wound up ie are they directors of other businesses

1000 Shares

If I was to apply and sent off the form, when would they take the money?
What if the club folded (sorry for being negative) and they had took my money?

Thats quite a dilemma something hard to answer, we dont know for sure how much short we are atm. If the club goes bust then u would have shares in nowt plus lose out on the package offers included.

I'm sure that it will still be on, or at the very least there will be an amended form of it as Ilyas did talk about the need for recapitalisation on the radio yesterday.

Count me in as well now :)

Yep - it's still on. I had a call from Martin Edmundson this aft.

I told him I'd hung back until the Club's future had been decided and he said that was pretty much the view of everybody he'd spoken to.

He also told me that all the prices are now inclusive of VAT so the entry level price is a straight 250 of your English pounds.

A new dawn indeed.

Is there any indication yet on future convertability to 'A' shares which would give full voting rights?
